We are often asked, where is the best snorkeling on Maui. There are so many great locations, but Honokeana Cove is a bit of a hidden gem. It is known for its calm waters and honu (meaning “sea turtles”) . This is the perfect location if your hope is to see a sea turtle on your snorkeling excursion.
Insider tip: This area is rocky and doesn’t really have a “beach” for hanging out. It’s great for actively snorkeling.
