Nestled along Maui's northwestern coast, Napili Bay is the perfect spot for a beach day. Dare I say, it is our favorite beach? Napili is perfect for soaking up the sun on the beach or building sand castles. The water is typically calm enough for swimming and snorkeling, and with only occasional bigger waves, it’s a good spot for beginner boogie boarders. We also love to stand up paddle here with easy board rental nearby (they’ll drop at the beach). If you can stay all day, sunset is not to be missed. It’s perfection!
Insider tip: Pay to park at the lot in Kapalua and walk through the Napili Kai to access the beach. Yes, you can park on the road for free but it’s often difficult to find a spot and no body wants to start a relaxing beach day all stressed out about parking.
